The beating heart of the Italian division of the Rapullino Group is the plant in Acerra (NA). This plant is the cornerstone that has undergone considerable improvements, transforming Sideralba from an artisanal business to an industrial reality of international resonance.
Strategically located in the Industrial Area of Acerra, in the province of Naples, the plant covers a total area of 150,000 square metres, of which 60,000 square metres are allocated to production facilities and the warehouse.
The plant is mainly focused on tube production, offering a wide range of options in black, pickled, galvanised, corten, cold, magnelis and pre-painted steel grades. This diversification is made possible by advanced production lines.

The plant, located in the dynamic industrial area of Basciano, Teramo, covers an area of 15,000 square metres, 7,000 square metres of which are covered, distributed over three warehouses and a modern office building.
Its strategic location, opposite the entrance to the A24 motorway, facilitates not only accessibility but also efficient product distribution.
The start of operations in 1986 marked the beginning of a path of growth and specialisation for today’s Profiles Division. Initially focused on the production of open profiles, the plant has evolved over the years, distinguishing itself for its ability to offer exclusive and customised products.
Sideralba Basciano’s recent investment has further consolidated its position in the sector. The new profiling machine, with processing capacity for thicknesses up to 8 mm, is capable of developing sheets up to 800 mm with automatic profile drilling. This advanced technology makes it possible to expand the offer for larger carpentries as well. One of the company’s distinguishing features is the SGS EN 1090 certification, a fundamental requirement for those who have to acquire CE-marked products. This certification attests compliance with the strict European standards for the production and installation of steel and aluminium structures.

SM Tunis Acier S.A., founded in March 2022 as the result of an equal joint venture between Sideralba Spa and Marcegaglia Carbon Steel Spa, represents a landmark in the management of the former Sideralba Maghreb.
Located in the Bizerte Industrial Economic Park in Tunisia, the plant covers a vast production area of over 100,000 square metres. Its location in the far north-east of the country, on the southern shore of the Mediterranean Sea, gives Bizerte a strategic role, taking full advantage of the presence of a multi-sectoral pole integrating heavy industry and advanced technology.
The Bizerte Industrial Economic Park stands out for its favourable geographical location, giving SM Tunis Acier S.A. a competitive advantage. The presence of a port quay connected to the plant facilitates transportation via trade routes to Europe, Arab countries and the American continent, consolidating the company’s position in the global market.
Currently, the facility employs 320 highly qualified employees and specialises in the production of galvanised coils, cold-rolled and pickled coils, as well as galvanised strips and sheets.

EMMEGI Spa is an Italian company specialised in the production and commercialisation of electrofused grating, fencing, CE marked gates, metal steps and safety ladders, present on the national and international market.
The EMMEGI spa plant, located in Gioia del Colle (BA), produces approximately 12,000 tonnes of grating per year on four production lines and markets its products throughout the domestic and foreign markets (America, North Africa, Asia, Europe). The logistical efficiency at national level is strengthened by the warehouse located in Cortenuova (BG) dedicated to shipments to areas in Northern Italy.
